Take That To Reunite For Their 30th Anniversary, Robbie Williams Included!?
Great news for all Take That fans around the globe. The members of the legendary boy band are apparently planning to mark their 30th anniversary in 2020 with a gift their fans have been waiting and hoping for all these years – a reunion of all the original five members!
Namely, Take That remaining members Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, and Howard Donald, have recently revealed via a podcast with The Sun that they are planning to reunite with the two former members Jason Orange and Robbie Williams, in order to celebrate this upcoming special occasion.
In this interesting and revealing podcast, Gary said:
“We’re planning something to do for the 30-year all together. We’re looking that far ahead, something big, maybe a new record, maybe a greatest hits with a big tour.”
Although Robbie Williams quit the band back in 1995 to pursue a solo career, which caused the band to split just one year after, Take That managed to make a hugely successful comeback as a foursome in 2006, so the possible reunion will definitely be a slam dunk, money-wise.
However, Howard did admit that, even though he is indeed hoping for the reunion, the doubts are also present:
“A five-piece would be incredible. Whether that ever happens or not, that’s a different story. My gut’s telling me no. I’d love it to happen.”
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Fingers crossed though!
